Solasta Spa sits inside the Valhalla Resort Hotel and is listed by the Helen visitors bureau. The menu covers massage, a head spa, clinical skincare, a nail studio, body treatments and energy work, plus a steam and shower experience. The resort also has a gym and sauna. Gift cards and spa packages are available.

Forest bathing, for free
No appointment, no gratuity
Forest bathing is just walking slowly in the woods and paying attention. You don't need a guide. Smithgall Woods has a 0.3-mile visitor center loop and a 0.55-mile wetland loop, and Unicoi State Park has a 2.5-mile loop around its lake. Both need a Georgia ParkPass ($10 per vehicle per day). The Helen-to-Hardman Heritage Trail follows the river from town.
